Job Summary

We are looking for a local hands-on field service technician to support our Network Operations Team in Hamburg.


You will support and maintain critical network infrastructures, including switches, wireless

access points, and their power supply systems, and structured cabling.


This role requires a strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills in

German and English.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network switches, access points, and related infrastructure.
  • Handle power connections safely, manage optical (fiber) cabling and copper patch cabling, including terminations, labeling, and testing.
  • Provide basic network support— basic understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, like ICMP, DHCP, ARP, STP, MAC learning, VLANs, IPv4 Routing etc.
  • Work closely with central IT and vendors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation scheduling, and issue escalation.
  • Document installation sites—e.g., floor plans, cable runs, device labels—and keep accurate service logs.
  • Act as a technical bridge between on-site teams and remote NOC team - so strong interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills in essential
