Role: Hardware & Firmware Team Leader
Monthly Base Salary Rate: 16 000 – 22 000 PLN gross
Contract Type: Full Time, UoP

We are looking for a Firmware & Hardware Team Leader who will bring strong embedded development expertise, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills to enhance efficiency in new product development.

You will lead and coordinate the local development team responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of Aritech EVERON security systems and accessories for the EMEA market.

We seek a professional with a strong internal drive to deliver projects aligned with business objectives, while maintaining a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Build, develop, and manage a local team of up to 12 firmware and hardware engineers.

  • Plan and allocate resources, manage workload, and ensure timely delivery of new products into production.

  • Actively contribute to technical design, development, and problem-solving (approx. 80% hands-on, 20% leadership).

  • Oversee design, integration, documentation, testing, and production release activities.

  • Support global project teams in technical, tooling, and organizational aspects.

  • Foster effective collaboration between local and remote teams across multiple time zones.

  • Work closely with engineers to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovation.

  • Participate in the full development lifecycle — from specification and architecture through implementation, validation, and production support.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Drive change management and promote a strong product mindset within the team.

  • Identify and mitigate technical and project risks.

  • Lead recruitment processes and conduct performance evaluations.

Technical Environment

  • Embedded platforms: RTOS, STM32

  • Programming languages: C / C++

  • CI/CD: Bitbucket, Bamboo

  • Methodology: Agile / Scrum

  • Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo

  • Nice to have: SD Elements, Coverity, Black Duck

  • High level of hardware integration involvement

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communication Systems, or a related field.

  • A few years of experience in C/C++ development on embedded platforms.

  • Experience in people and process management.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Experience working with global, geographically distributed teams.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Experience in security systems or IoT is a strong advantage.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Intrusion Leader responsible for driving New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining Engineering across control systems, accessories, and detectors.
