Hardware Design Engineer (INV)_EM

Summary

Designs and tests hardware for electric-vehicle inverters, including power and control circuits, simulation, layout checks, and functional-safety analysis (ASIL C).

Responsibilities:
- Design HW architecture for INV
- Design of power circuit, including driver
- Desing of control circuit (μC interface definition, power supply, sampling circuit, monitoring circuit, etc...), power supply modules, output HSI(Hardware software interface)
- Perform electric circuit simulation, support layout check, e-part selection and release support.
- Maintain e-BOM
- Perform HW test (PCBA function test, RT test, thermal test support, EMC optimize test)
- Support EOL PAV
- Responsible for FAM, FMEA, FMEDA (ASIL C related)
- lead HW relevent troubleshooting with 8D method
- interaction with mechanic design and software design

• Master’s degree or above in Power Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics, etc.

• understanding of automotive electronic components and control system

• Knowledge of electrical vehicle E/E architecture and powertrain topology
• Knowledge of power loss calculation, temperature evaluation, lifetime evaluation
• Knowledge of electrical motor and its control
• Knowledge of functional safety design
• Can use professional software (e.g., Altium Designer/Cadence)
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and team spirit
• Good written and verbal English skills
• Willingness to work and interact in international team
