Hardware Design Engineer

NTT DATA Romania is seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware development for High Voltage Battery Management Systems (HV BMS). You will design schematics, run circuit simulations, validate designs, test hardware, and document results, while collaborating with customers and cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in HW development, strong analog/digital design for automotive applications, and knowledge of HV BMS, Li‑Ion tech, ISO 26262, EMC/EMI,

End-to-end HW development for HV BMS, including schematic design, circuit simulation, validation and testing. Create/update circuit diagrams and write test specifications. Produce and maintain technical documentation (planning, layout requirements, FMEA). Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in an international environment. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers as needed. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related engineering field. Minimum 5 years of relevant HW development experience. Strong knowledge of analog and digital hardware design for automotive applications. Experience with HV BMS and Li‑Ion technologies. Familiarity with ISO 26262, EMC/EMI design, and FMEA.
