Hardware Development Engineer (m/f/d)

  • Electronic hardware development for amplifier related projects from concept to series production
  • Design, test and measure electronic modules for automotive applications
  • Conduct feasibility studies using simulations or prototypes
  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing data
  • Commission and verify hardware, document test results
  • Build and modify electronic assemblies and cables
  • Perform electrical measurements using lab equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
  • Provide technical documentation and define functional criteria for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical design, quality, purchasing)
  • Coordinate with development teams in Japan (e.g., design reviews)
  • Contribute to development standards and process improvement
  • Occasional travel for development-related tasks

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, automotive is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout (incl. EMC considerations)
  • Proficient in development and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience with embedded system testing and prototyping
  • Skilled in using soldering tools, microscopes, and lab measurement equipment
  • Confident in preparing technical documentation and understanding development processes
  • Experience with complex electronic assemblies (e.g., multilayer PCBs)
  • Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
  • Structured, hands-on team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
