Day to day the person evolves an Arduino prototype into a product: designing PCBs, writing firmware, and selecting components. Compensation offered is equity (0.1%–0.5%).

We are a team of engineers, designers, and athletes creating software and hardware for competitive athletes and professionals. Are you interested in contributing to a product in the action sports industry, and working on a project that has huge potential? We are looking for a passionate Electronic Engineer to join our team and become one of our Co-Founders. We have prototyped an Augmented Reality wearables device using Arduino, and we are seeking a hardware specialist to bring our project to the next level. We want to - design our own pcb - write the firmware (from our Arduino sketch) - select the best components from our devices We are a startup so you will also have the opportunity to hone your skills and learn and create new ones Position Description: Write firmware Design PCB Knowledge of best components to use for our devices Ability to be proactive, a problem solver, and embrace new technologies Interact well with other designers, developers and other stakeholders Reliability: able to deliver the quality timely work. Understanding of Lean Development Ability to work in a startup environment ! Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years expierence in electronic hardware development Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hardware, data processing, and sensors Comfortable with design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Suite) An eye for good design and a taste for good user experience
