Discussion

Summary

Internship with Greenerwave's Hardware team in Sophia-Antipolis: improving and extending the software (mainly Python, some C) that controls and tests the company's metasurface technology, running tests, debugging issues, and documenting changes. Aimed at a final-year engineering student in electronics or embedded systems.

Why this role is key

The reliability of the software that controls our metasurfaces is essential to the proper functioning of our technology. By helping make this software more robust and modular, and further developing our testing tools, you will help the Hardware team verify the performance of our designs and resolve technical issues.

Reporting to Gérald, Hardware Head of Discipline, you will learn to connect electronics, software development and experimental validation. This internship will allow you to follow tangible improvements from investigating a problem and implementing a fix through to testing and documenting the changes.

Your responsabilities

Software tool development and improvement

  • Improve the software that controls our technology (metasurfaces) to make it more robust and modular,

  • Develop new features based on technical requirements,

  • Further develop our testing tools and software to verify the performance of our various designs.

Testing and tool improvement

  • Carry out the associated tests,

  • Participate in investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve bugs,

  • Suggest ideas for improving existing processes,

  • Document changes to ensure their traceability.
