Location: Zurich Region, Switzerland

Are you an experienced Hardware Design Engineer with a passion for PCB design and bringing innovative hardware from concept through to production?

I'm currently partnering with an internationally recognised Swiss technology company that is looking to strengthen its internal hardware engineering team with an ambitious engineer who enjoys taking ownership and working on cutting-edge electronics.

What you will be doing

Designing high-quality PCB layouts with manufacturing, testing and calibration in mind

Developing hardware solutions from concept through to production readiness

Driving continuous improvements in hardware quality, reliability and performance

Working extensively with Altium Designer / Altium 365

Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across development and production

Helping shape engineering processes and design standards for future products

What we are looking for

Completed apprenticeship, HF/TS qualification or degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Around 3-8 years of professional hardware engineering experience (more experienced candidates are also welcome if motivated by a hands-on engineering role)

Strong experience in PCB Design

Expert user of Altium Designer / Altium 365 (essential)

Experience taking hardware designs from concept through production is highly desirable

A practical engineer who enjoys solving real engineering challenges

German language skills (minimum B1) with the motivation to continue improving
