Hardware Engineer 硬體研發工程師

The Role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join and grow with a high-calibre team responsible for the design, validation, and production introduction of Peplink’s next-generation routers, access points, and connectivity appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Product design: grow a team of engineers across board design, RF, power, and signal integrity disciplines.

• Development Oversight: Own the full hardware lifecycle (architecture definition, schematic and layout review, prototype build, DVT/PVT, and manufacturing handoff) , ensuring 12-month concept-to-production cycles by optimizing workflows and removing blockers.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with firmware, product management, and industrial design teams to define requirements and resolve trade-offs.

• Supply Chain & Manufacturing: Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers, leading DFM and DFT reviews.

• Technical Standards: Enforce standards for high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen 3/4, USB 3.x, Ethernet up to 10 GbE), cellular modem integration (4G/5G), and Wi-Fi 6E/7 RF front-ends.

• Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies such as 60 GHz mmWave radios, FPGA-based pocket processing, and satellite modem interfaces.

• Quality Assurance: Champion reliability through thermal analysis, HALT/HASS programs and field-return root-cause investigations .

• Operations: Manage hiring plans, budgets, and data-driven progress reporting to senior management.
