Hardware Integration Engineer (New Graduate, 2027)
- We are looking for bright Hardware Integration Engineers interested in designing and building next-generation compute and sensor hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles
- Our hardware engineers work across the full hardware lifecycle — from schematic design and PCB layout to bring-up, validation, and production support — collaborating closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems into production vehicle programs
- Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware
- Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting
- Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality
- Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp
- Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports
- BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for hardware debug and validation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications
- Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout graduating by December 2026
- Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway
- Familiarity with communication protocols relevant to vehicle systems (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
- Experience with high-speed digital design, power electronics, or RF/sensor interfaces
- Exposure to compliance/EMC testing or DFM/DFT processes
- Prior internship or project experience with automotive, robotics, or embedded hardware
