Hardware Test Engineer – Reno/Sparks Manufacturing Facility

Key Responsibilities :
<NPI & Design Support>
Review test requirements and collaborate with hardware/software teams to develop manufacturing test strategies for NPI.
Define test coverage, test limits and validate test sequences for SMT and FATP stations.
Prepare test documentation, work instructions and engineering change notices (ECNs) for test programs.
Support NPI builds, test station bring-up, SW validation and MIL tracking
<Production Support >
Test SOP and Test Policy release to line for production.
Monitor test performance, troubleshoot for high retest/fail rate issue.
< Test System & Continuous Improvement>
Support test fixture & instrument validation, Capex and QPL planning for long-lead test equipment
Drive continuous improvement on test cycle time, test coverage and station utilization
Train production operators and technicians on test flows and ESD control
