Haul Truck Operators
Dump Truck Operators are responsible for transporting materials such as dirt, rocks, sand, gravel, garbage and other materials from one site to another.
- Driving trucks to the destination site.
- Pulling levers or turning cranks to tilt the body and dump the truck’s contents.
- Inspecting the truck from tyres, lights and brakes to fuel, oil and water.
- Performing pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Keeping the truck clean and in good working order.
- Inspecting material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and securely.
- Reviewing shipping documents to verify data is accurate.
- Maintaining a driver log.
To be successful for these roles you must be experienced in:
- Operator CAT 797, CAT 793, CAT 789, CAT 785 either single skill or a combination of these machinery
- Operator KOM 830-E, 930-E
Suitable candidates will need to supply:
- Resume - Current with contactable referees
- Driver Licence (Front and Back)
- Birth Certificate or passport
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
- Standard 11 - Statement of Attainment
- LMS/ training matrix & RII competencies
