[HCM - Thu Duc] (Junior) Business Analyst
Summary
Junior Business Analyst gathers and documents business requirements, configures low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, and supports testing and process improvements for a global laboratory company.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
- Ensure requirements gathering, collect business and functional requirements in cooperation with IT and Business/Operational Departments. When applicable, configure, implement, and maintain low-code/no-code business solutions and application enhancements to support business requirements.
- Liase with interfacing application responsible to design and define the integration requirements, describe the business and functional requirements, and finalize the Service Requirements before development starts;
- Create User Requirements and Backlog Items (if required) for developers and ensure approval by relevant stakeholders before development / configuration starts (Key Account Managers, Users, Product Owner, Interfacing Application responsible);
- Groom the requirements with development team and oversee the implementation of related changes; and provide to support to Developers and QA for any requirements related queries.
- Manage the proper execution of functional test once the solution is available and ensure Solution is ready for User Testing;
- Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
- Provide backlog management, and elaboration of the relevant user stories
- Provide documentation for users and business as and when required to gather requirements, support understanding of requirements and usage of application;
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and digitalization.
- Design, configure and maintain business solutions using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to promote adoption of digital tools and maximize productivity improvements.
- Coordinate with local and global IT teams to implement enhancements, integrations and continuous improvements for business applications.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Initial Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, Natural Science or related fields.
Languages requirement: English (working language)
Total Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, laboratory systems, application support, or process improvement roles, acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

Qualifications and knowledge
- Understanding of laboratory operations and workflows is an advantage
- Knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Familiarity with MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, etc.).
IT Technologies
- Basic SQL knowledge for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Forms).
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, or data flows is an advantage.
