As a Manager in HCP Engagement - Engagement Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness within our operations consulting team. You will work closely with clients to analyze operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Within our Business & Supply Chain Operations practice, you will provide guidance on implementing technology solutions, process automation, and operational excellence frameworks.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will also develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.

Responsibilities


- An HCP Engagement Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HCP engagement function they are assigned. This role manages team member assignments, operational metrics, SLAs, confirms compliance with regulatory and company standards, drives operational excellence, and supports the effective coordination of all engagement across any of the assigned functional teams, including HCP Onboarding, Engagement Ambassadorship, Contracting, Invoicing and Payments as well as Transparency Reporting. The Team Lead provides guidance and oversight to a team of specialists they are assigned.

- Oversee the execution of HCP onboarding, vendor setup, contracting, FMV/tiering, and payment processing

- Confirms adherence to internal SOPs and relevant regulations and policies (e.g., FMV governance, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, EFPIA as applicable). Maintain audit-ready documentation and control evidence across onboarding, contracting, payments, and transparency data handoffs
- Leading operational consulting engagements to optimize client efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyzing client needs and developing strategic operational solutions to enhance productivity and business performance
- Guiding teams in implementing technology solutions and process automation to drive operational excellence
- Overseeing the development and execution of operational strategies to improve quality and efficiency
- Coaching and mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and deliver on client expectations
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency
- Collaborating with clients to address operational challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Managing project planning, budgeting, and execution to achieve successful outcomes
- Promoting the adoption of emerging technologies and lean process improvement methodologies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to support ongoing operational support and analysis

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 10 - 12 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Good experience in HCP operations, compliance, or pharmaceutical industry support

- Strong understanding of HCP compliance requirements (FMV, Sunshine Act, etc.)

- Lead process optimization, tooling adoption, and playbook updates across functional areas supported by the team. Collaborate and meet with internal client operational leaders on escalations, improvements, performance metrics and program priorities. Partner with Business Owners, Legal/Compliance, Finance/AP, and Transparency Reporting to resolve exceptions, escalations, and data issues
