About the Role
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Business Continuity and Threat Intelligence function, strengthen business continuity preparedness and identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Enterprise Business Continuity Management framework.
- Identify, assess and monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities and business continuity risks.
- Develop, update and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency response plans.
- Lead crisis management activities during business disruptions.
- Coordinate business continuity testing, simulations and recovery exercises.
- Ensure recovery teams are trained and prepared to respond to disruptions.
- Work with functional teams to maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
- Provide daily and periodic threat, risk and business continuity reports to senior management.
- Monitor regulatory requirements, audits and implementation of risk mitigation controls.
- Promote organization-wide business continuity awareness and preparedness.
Requirements
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, IT, Engineering or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional or Master Business Continuity Professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in risk management, insurance or engineering, preferably in manufacturing or financial services.
- Knowledge of information security, business continuity and financial metrics.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
