Head Coach
Job Summary:
Lead BFT Bishan, our award-winning studio, as Head Coach. Deliver high-energy group classes, mentor coaches, drive member retention through strong community engagement. Support studio marketing events and initiatives to grow membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Class Leadership: Lead dynamic group fitness classes, ensuring proper technique and a motivating experience for members of all fitness levels.
- Instructor Development: Recruit, train and mentor new fitness instructors to build a talented team.
- Team Development: Run regular team training. Mentor and audit coaches to uphold standards, address gaps, and build team cohesion.
- Member Experience & Retention: Closely monitor member engagement, attendance and feedback to drive retention and foster a strong community.
- Studio Marketing Support: Support studio marketing events and initiatives to grow membership and brand presence.
- Environment Creation: Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive environment that encourages member engagement and success.
- Education and Inspiration: Educate members on proper techniques and inspire them to achieve their fitness goals.
- Continous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest fitness trends and best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (NCSF, BES, ACE, ISSA, etc).
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the capacity as a Head Coach or leading group fitness classess, preferably in high-intensity or functional fitness.
- Preferably has BFT training or coaching experience.

- Strong understanding of sport science and health principles.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules.
