Head Host (M/F/X) - Temporary Contract - Lech

This position is a 40 hours contract per week - to be filled for a duration of 4.5 months, starting from 27th of November 2026.

🎯 Rôle :

As an Head Chalet Host, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional daily service to guests and ensuring that our luxury properties are maintained to the highest standards. This is a hands-on and varied role that includes ensuring service areas are clean and organised as well as the rest of guest areas, setting and serving meals, lighting fires, completing bedroom turn-downs in the evenings, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

✨Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Hospitality

  • Deliver daily hosting and housekeeping services to exceed guest expectations in line with the advertised package

  • Prepare, lay out, and serve breakfast, afternoon tea, evening drinks, canapés, and dinner during designated bookings

  • Meet and greet guests on arrival and departure, including assisting with luggage transport

  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented presence at all times

Property Operations & Housekeeping

  • Undertake chalet changeovers on designated turnover days, including deep cleaning and preparation

  • Ensure best practice in cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of all properties

  • Follow company policies for linen and towel usage, cleaning protocols, and inventory control

  • Manage replenishment and correct usage of cleaning materials and supplies

  • Arrange flowers and seasonal decorations throughout the property

Maintenance & Property Upkeep

  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets, changing bulbs) where required

  • Escalate more complex maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager or resort team

  • Immediately report any damage to property or equipment and prevent further misuse

Stock, Budget & Administration

  • Conduct stocktakes and inventory checks throughout the season as instructed

  • Manage and adhere to chalet budgets and maintain accounts in line with company processes

  • Source or purchase additional required items via approved systems (e.g., crockery, cutlery, kitchen items)

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all local laws, Health & Safety regulations, and company policies

  • Never serve food containing known guest allergens

  • Uphold mountain safety rules at all times while in uniform

  • Do not provide unauthorised services (e.g., ski instruction, guiding, photography) outside approved operations

  • Ensure proper handling and distribution of guest tips according to company guidelines

Teamwork & Communication

  • Attend all staff briefings and meetings as required

  • Act as first point of resolution for any staff disputes before escalation

  • Support other operations within Bramble Ski or Haute Montagne across Austria, France, and Switzerland when needed (including short-term cover for sickness or injury)

  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams

  • Ensure all company processes, procedures, and updates are implemented correctly

⚠️ Schedules & specificities:

Bramble Ski operates in accordance with Austrian labour law and applicable collective agreements.. Due to operational requirements, work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required, particularly during high season.

Working schedules are organized on a rotating basis and communicated at least one week in advance, in coordination with the wider team. All scheduling complies with Austrian regulations on working time, rest periods, and maximum weekly working hours.

Overtime is managed in line with Austrian labour law and applicable collective agreements and is compensated either through time off in lieu or payment, as legally required.

All scheduling and compensation practices must remain fully compliant with Austrian labour law, and adjustments will be made where necessary to ensure ongoing compliance.

🔍 Ideal Candidate:

Required skills & experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the luxury hospitality sector (chalets, hotels, yachts, events, etc.)

  • Fluent in spoken English; French or German is a bonus

  • Positive, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team

  • Reliable, discreet, and service-oriented

  • Well-presented and comfortable in a guest-facing role

  • Passionate about hospitality and mountain life

Nice to have :

  • Strong housekeeping skills with a high attention to detail
  • Some cooking experience is a plus (professional kitchen, cookery course, or group catering
