Head of AI & Automation
About the Role
We are looking for a Head of AI & Automation to lead the Group’s AI transformation across our international iGaming operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for turning AI and automation into measurable business results — increasing revenue, improving productivity, reducing operating costs, strengthening decision-making, and enabling the business to scale efficiently.
You will own the Group’s AI strategy, transformation roadmap, architecture, implementation, governance, and ROI, working directly with the CEO and C-Level leadership.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute the Group-wide AI and Automation Strategy and 12–24 month roadmap.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities across Marketing, CRM, Customer Operations, Product, Trading, Finance, HR, Risk, Payments, KYC, Fraud, Legal and Compliance.
- Transform manual processes into AI-powered workflows, agents and automated decision-making systems.
- Establish scalable AI architecture, standards and reusable capabilities across the Group.
Implementation & Technology
- Lead initiatives from business case and architecture through deployment, adoption and optimization.
- Build and deploy AI agents and multi-step automated workflows.
- Integrate AI into existing systems through APIs, automation platforms, data pipelines and custom applications.
- Define the technology approach across LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, model orchestration and automation platforms.
- Lead build-vs-buy decisions and evaluate AI vendors, platforms and strategic partners.
Commercial Impact
- Deliver measurable improvements in revenue, EBITDA, productivity, customer value and operating efficiency.
- Apply AI across acquisition, CRM, personalization, churn prediction, bonus optimization, cross-sell, customer support, fraud, payments and compliance.
- Build clear business cases with expected ROI, implementation costs and payback periods.
- Own performance measurement and ROI across the AI portfolio.
Governance & Leadership
- Establish the Group’s AI governance, security and responsible-use framework.
- Ensure AI deployments meet privacy, security, regulatory and data-protection requirements.
- Partner closely with Technology, Product, BI, Security and operational teams.
- Build internal AI capabilities and manage engineers, automation specialists, consultants and technology partners.
- Report transformation progress, investment requirements, risks and results directly to executive leadership.
What You Bring
- 7+ years across AI, automation, technology transformation, data or digital operations.
- Proven experience taking AI initiatives from concept/prototype into production with measurable business impact.
- Experience in high-growth digital environments such as iGaming, FinTech, SaaS, e-commerce or similar data-intensive businesses.
- Strong practical understanding of:
- LLMs and AI agents
- RAG and vector databases
- APIs and enterprise integrations
- Python
- Workflow automation platforms such as n8n
- Data pipelines and cloud AI infrastructure
- AI monitoring, security and governance
- Strong commercial understanding of ROI, EBITDA, LTV, CAC, CPA, productivity and technology investment cases.
- Ability to operate effectively across executive, architectural and implementation levels.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
What We Offer
- Direct sponsorship from the Group CEO and C-Level leadership.
- Ownership of the Group’s AI and automation transformation roadmap.
- Dedicated transformation budget and influence over technology and vendor selection.
- Opportunity to build the Group’s AI ecosystem and capabilities from the ground up.
- Competitive executive compensation with performance incentives linked to measurable commercial and transformation outcomes.
Success in this role will be measured by business impact — not by the number of AI tools deployed.
