Head of AI / Engineering Leader

Responsibilities:

• The client wants a strong technical/AI engineering leader who can:
• Define engineering and technology strategy.
• Drive AI adoption across engineering.
• Lead modernization and transformation.
• Guide architecture and engineering standards.
• Improve SDLC, cloud, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and quality practices.
• Use AI to improve engineering productivity and decision-making.
• Lead and mentor senior technical teams.
• The JD specifically emphasizes engineering strategy, SDLC transformation, cloud delivery, CI/CD, architecture governance, quality, DevSecOps, and responsible AI adoption.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing complex, full-lifecycle software development.
• 5+ years leading staff.
• 5+ years in software product development/management.
• Technology direction experience is preferred.

Client preference:

• Good target range: 15-25 years
• No strict upper limit if the candidate is technically relevant.
• The candidate should have strong exposure to AI-assisted software development, AI-driven code review and QA, AI-driven DevOps/CI/CD, AI-augmented architecture, AI-enabled technical debt management, AI-enabled product prioritization, AI-driven portfolio analytics, and predictive workforce planning.
• Advanced proficiency across these AI-enabled engineering capabilities.
