Head of AI & Game Mathematics
As the Head of AI & Gaming Mathematics, you will build and lead a comprehensive algorithm platform team from scratch based in Hong Kong. You will organically integrate gaming mathematics, big data recommendation, intelligent risk control, and AI technologies to develop a core gaming algorithm foundation that supports global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building & Leadership: Responsible for the strategic planning and team expansion of the Hong Kong Algorithm Center; recruit, mentor, and develop gaming mathematicians, recommendation system experts, MLOps engineers, and risk control algorithm specialists.
- Algorithm Platform Architecture: Spearhead the development of a reusable algorithm platform, including a unified RNG (Random Number Generator) standard library, player behavior profiling center, and personalized distribution & traffic strategy engines (Aladdin-style algorithm enhancement).
- Business & Algorithm Alignment: Collaborate with game producers and commercial operations teams to translate complex algorithmic metrics into business ROI; optimize RTP and volatility configurations to ensure a precise balance between gaming compliance and profitability.
- Frontier AI Exploration: Drive the implementation of Generative AI (GenAI) in gaming content generation (AIGC), Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA), and intelligent non-player characters (Agents).
Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Work Experience: 8+ years of experience in algorithm R&D with at least 3+ years in a team management role. Premium consideration given to candidates from large-scale online game, or core teams in high-frequency quantitative trading/FinTech.
- Technical Capabilities: Expert in large-scale recommendation systems, Reinforcement Learning (RL), or advanced risk-control/anti-cheating algorithms. Possess a profound understanding of RNG mechanisms (e.g., MT19937, cryptographically secure RNG) and international gaming compliance standards (e.g., GLI, BMM).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-border/cross-regional communication skills with sharp business acumen. Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
