Lead Asianet's business performance and analytics capability, providing management with a clear, timely, and independent view of how the business is performing at cluster, asset, partner, and portfolio levels. This role will connect commercial, operational, and financial data to identify the underlying drivers of performance, anticipate emerging risks, and uncover opportunities to improve asset utilization, customer outcomes, and financial returns. A central responsibility is to convert analysis into practical business decisions: engaging relevant leaders, constructively challenging existing approaches, agreeing on corrective actions, and tracking implementation and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish Performance Visibility: Develop an integrated performance framework that enables management to trace portfolio results to individual clusters, assets, partners, and tenants. Connect network performance, asset capacity, customer activity, revenue, operating costs, and investment data into a coherent view of business performance.

  • Diagnose Performance Drivers: Investigate variations in cluster performance and analyze drivers of utilization, subscriber growth, churn, revenue, margins, and cash generation. Identify underutilized or deteriorating assets, recurring service issues, inefficient expenditure, and opportunities for additional tenancy or demand capture.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Decisions: Lead performance discussions with functional heads and relevant cluster, regional, and partner-facing teams. Translate recommendations into agreed initiatives with accountable owners, milestones, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.

  • Build an Early Warning Capability: Develop indicators and thresholds that identify emerging operational, commercial, and financial risks before they materially affect performance.

  • Support Planning & Resource Allocation: Provide cluster-level insights for the annual operating plan, forecasts, and management reviews. Support decisions on network remediation, asset rehabilitation, capacity expansion, and commercial activation.

  • Build the Team & Data Discipline: Lead the transition of relevant FP&A capabilities into Business Performance & Analytics to develop a lean, commercially effective team. Establish repeatable analytical methods and automate recurring reporting in partnership with Technology and data owners.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Typically 10-15 years of relevant experience across business performance, commercial analytics, operational finance, FP&A, or business transformation, including leadership responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated experience turning detailed operating data into business insights and delivering measurable improvements through cross-functional action.

  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, including revenue drivers, operating margins, cash flow, asset utilization, and investment returns.

  • Experience in telecommunications, fibre infrastructure, broadband, utilities, or another distributed, asset-intensive business is strongly preferred.

  • Sufficient analytical depth to interrogate source data, assess methodologies, and challenge conclusions.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools, with practical SQL capability preferred.

  • Experience working with imperfect or fragmented data and building credible reporting and decision processes progressively.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.

  • English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills are required.

Leadership Qualities

  • Maturity and Credibility: Able to engage senior leaders as a trusted counterpart and handle sensitive performance discussions with sound judgment.

  • Constructive Challenge & Influence: Comfortable questioning assumptions and holding teams accountable while maintaining productive relationships, able to secure agreement without relying solely on formal authority.

  • Business Judgment & Execution: Understands which findings warrant action, balances financial outcomes with operational feasibility, and follows recommendations through to implementation.

  • Clear Communication: Converts complex analysis into concise explanations, practical choices, and specific decisions
