Deal Baker

Head of Business Development

Discussion

Deal Baker is a practice, not a dev shop — we don't sell hours and we don't staff projects. Our CTO gets on a call with the owner of a business, diagnoses the build while he's still on that call, prices it there, and then holds a weekly call with that client for as long as they're a client. Five production systems in five unrelated industries. Paying clients since 2023. Revenue that renews monthly. Delivery runs on agents rather than headcount, so there's no bench to feed, no ramp, and no three-week silence while somebody gets staffed.

We win the calls we get. We just don't get many. Every client we have came by referral. There's no list, no playbook, no outbound, no channel — nobody here has ever gone looking for a client. That's the seat.

Who we want. A senior BD out of software outsourcing who already knows the right people. Employed, independent, or between things — we don't mind which. You know this buyer, you know the objections, you know what a build actually costs and why the estimate is always wrong. You won't be closing — our CTO does that on the call. Your job is getting the right owner onto his calendar, and knowing which owners are worth his sixty minutes.

This is a second thing, not your next job. Commission only, so it can't be what covers your rent. If you're employed, read your contract first — we won't be the reason you breach one. Your employer's clients are theirs. Your own relationships are yours.

Money. No base. Bonus €5k per client.

Time. Fully flexible, work your own hours.
