About the Job The Head of Business Development supports the company’s growth agenda by identifying and exploring new business opportunities. Head of Business Development leads team that evaluates and develop with partners new market and partnership opportunities, prepares business cases and investor materials, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute initiatives that support sustainable business growth. What You’ll Do: Business Development and Growth Initiatives<ul><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Develop a structured framework for identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new market opportunities and growth projects</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Conduct market research, industry benchmarking, and feasibility reviews to assess potential business opportunities.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Prepare business proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and recommendation papers for new initiatives.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Coordinate with relevant internal teams to assess commercial, operational, financial, risk, legal, and product implications of proposed opportunities.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Support the review of contracts and commercial documents related to business development initiatives.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Track progress of business development projects and ensure alignment with agreed objectives, timelines, and expected business outcomes.</li></ul> Partnership and External Relationship Management<ul><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Build and maintain relationships with banks, non-bank financial institutions, fintech players, technology companies, remittance companies, and other potential business partners.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Explore partnership opportunities within the consumer finance, financial services, fintech, and broader consumer industry space.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Represent the company in business development discussions with external parties, as needed.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Support the development of partnership models that contribute to company growth.</li></ul> Leadership and Team Management<ul><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Lead and guide the Business Development team in delivering funding and business development priorities.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Provide direction, coaching, and performance support to direct reports.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Ensure clear ownership, structured follow-through, and timely delivery of assigned initiatives.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Build team capability in research, financial analysis, presentation development, stakeholder coordination, and project execution.</li></ul> What you need to have: <ul><li style="margin-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">At least 10 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, business development, project management, product development, corporate development, or related fields.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Strong understanding of financial analysis, business case preparation, and commercial evaluation.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-size:13px;line-height:normal;font-family:'Helvetica Neue';">Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
