Head of Business Development

Lead targeted-account engagement, opportunity development, executive partnerships, complex sales cycles, and positioning of TBCASoft products and services for telecom and fintech customers.

Responsibilities

• Initiate engagement with targeted accounts
• Lead the opportunity development process
• Establish partnerships with purchasing decision makers, executive sponsors, coaches, and influencers
• Develop third-party relationships to extend market reach
• Manage sales cycles
• Position and sell products and services
• Develop opportunities from the first lead through close
• Lead resources and matrix-manage the designated project team
• Align sales opportunities with business and financial objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 10+ years of business development or sales leadership experience
• At least 7 years of experience in business development, sales, sales management, software, technology solutions, or system integration sales in telecom or fintech
• Strong knowledge of telecom, networking products, and services
• Proven telecom or fintech sales experience; OSS/BSS experience is a plus
• Executive-level communication and presentation experience
• Established VP and C-level executive relationships
• Experience running long, complex B2B sales cycles for large companies
• Proven record of closing large complex deals
• Passion for learning and promoting blockchain technology
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently
• Hands-on experience in a startup environment
