Description
Head of Business Strategy & Commercialization — Egofold
About Egofold
Egofold is an AI technology company backed by Snail Inc. The company is focused on developing Non Human Players (NHPs), intelligent AI agents designed to perceive, learn, make decisions, and interact with video games much like human players.
Unlike traditional scripted game AI, NHPs are designed to learn from experience and adapt across different games, providing a common AI foundation for a wide range of interactive products and services.
Our small, fast-moving team combines AI research with practical engineering to turn this technology into real-world applications.
About the Role
Egofold is seeking a Director of Business Strategy & Commercialization to help build a new business around emerging AI technology. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for gaming and AI to shape commercial products and services from the ground up, working directly with executive leadership and a small team of researchers and engineers.
The successful candidate will identify market opportunities, develop and validate business models, and establish a strategy for turning Egofold's NHP technology into a sustainable business. A key challenge will be building a differentiated AI ecosystem with lasting competitive advantages that extend beyond any single product.
We are looking for someone who has helped bring new products or businesses to market and understands what it takes to move from an ambitious concept to commercial success. This role offers substantial independence and ownership, requiring the judgment to challenge assumptions, make practical recommendations, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-moving, startup-like environment. We value candidates who take the initiative to understand our technology, identify its market potential, and bring their own informed perspectives on how to build a successful business around it.
The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including market validation, financial planning, commercialization strategy, and preparation for investor discussions.
