We are seeking a strategic and technically accomplished Head of Cloud & Infrastructure Operations to oversee the organization's cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, and operational technology services. This leadership role is responsible for driving infrastructure modernization, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient technology environments that support business growth.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure engineering, platform operations, cybersecurity, and service delivery. They will play a key role in shaping technology strategy while leading initiatives that improve reliability, performance, automation, and governance across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy & Platform Management

• Develop and execute cloud infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives and long-term technology roadmaps
• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Establish governance standards, cloud operating models, and architectural best practices
• Drive cloud adoption, modernization initiatives, and platform standardization efforts
• Ensure cloud environments are scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient

Infrastructure & Systems Operations

• Oversee enterprise infrastructure operations, including compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and recovery services
• Manage hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud-based technologies
• Lead capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Ensure operational stability, performance, and service availability across all infrastructure platforms
• Support Windows and Linux server environments and associated enterprise technologies

Network & Connectivity Services

• Manage enterprise networking solutions across multiple locations and cloud environments
• Oversee secure connectivity solutions including SD-WAN, VPN, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and similar technologies
• Ensure network performance, resilience, segmentation, and security best practices are maintained
• Collaborate with service providers and vendors to support reliable infrastructure services
• Champion automation initiatives that improve deployment speed, operational efficiency, and system reliability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices using modern automation tools
• Support CI/CD pipelines and platform engineering initiatives that enable faster and more reliable service delivery
• Oversee containerized environments and orchestration platforms supporting modern application workloads
• Partner with security teams to strengthen infrastructure and cloud security posture
• Implement security controls, identity governance, privileged access management, and monitoring solutions
• Support vulnerability management, remediation planning, and infrastructure compliance initiatives
• Promote security-by-design principles and operational best practices across all technology platforms
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, governance, and organizational security requirements

Business Continuity & Resilience

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Define recovery objectives and ensure infrastructure environments can meet recovery requirements
• Conduct disaster recovery exercises, backup validation testing, and resiliency assessments
• Implement high-availability and multi-region solutions where appropriate

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure, cloud, and operations professionals
• Establish standards, policies, operational procedures, and governance frameworks
• Manage vendor relationships, contract reviews, technology evaluations, and procurement activities
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and technology investment decisions
• Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or enterprise IT operations
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong background managing enterprise-scale infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments
• Proven expertise in infrastructure operations, cloud networking, automation, security, and disaster recovery
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities
