Head of Compliance and AML CTF

You will design implement and maintain the AML CTF and compliance framework. You will ensure regulatory permissions are respected and controls remain robust proportionate and effective. You will manage day to day compliance and AML functions conduct risk assessments oversee remediation engage with regulators and present reports and advice to senior management and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain the AML CTF and compliance framework
• Ensure operations remain within regulatory permissions and maintain an effective control environment
• Manage day to day compliance and AML functions
• Advise the Board on regulatory risk
• Manage KYC CDD EDD STR sanctions and transaction monitoring controls
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring programmes
• Manage regulatory findings and remediation
• Engage directly with the Central Bank of Ireland or an equivalent regulator
• Prepare reports and present to senior management and Boards

Requirements

• Experience in compliance and AML CTF within a regulated financial services payments fintech or crypto asset business
• AML CTF MLRO or DMLRO experience and or financial crime expertise
• Experience with KYC CDD EDD STR sanctions and transaction monitoring
• Experience dealing directly with the Central Bank of Ireland or an equivalent regulator is desirable
• Experience building developing or implementing compliance frameworks
• Experience conducting compliance risk assessments and monitoring programmes
• Experience managing regulatory findings and remediation
• Experience in or understanding of the European regulatory environment
• Problem solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
• Comfort preparing reports and presenting to senior management or Boards
