Job Description

You will be a core member of our team as our Head of Content. You will own our content strategy and build our content system from the ground up, across YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Your main focus is growing our YouTube presence: deciding what videos to make, scripting them, and editing them into long-form videos that reach founders and executives.

You will work closely with our social media designer to grow each platform.

This role starts as a probationary period, with the goal of a long-term, full-time position.

Expected Compensation Range:

- Head of Content (Probationary): $1,200–$1,500/mo
- Head of Content: $2,000–$2,500/mo + performance bonus
Total earning potential: up to $3,200/mo (base + performance bonuses)

Core Responsibilities:

- Own our content strategy and build our content system across YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Come up with video ideas and script long-form YouTube videos
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to upload
- Optimize titles, descriptions, and tags for YouTube SEO
- Track content performance and manage the content calendar
- Work with our social media designer to grow each platform
- Support short-form editing and thumbnails as needed

You must have:

- Experience leading content as a Head of Content, Content Lead, or similar role
- Strong skills in content strategy, scripting, and long-form video editing
- Strong knowledge of YouTube SEO
- A portfolio of scripts and long-form videos you've edited
- Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar professional editing software
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Availability during US hours (PST)

- 16GB RAM
- 256GB SSD
- 50 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload internet
- HD webcam (720p minimum)
- Noise-canceling headset with microphone
- Backup internet and power highly preferred
