Head of Controllership

You will build and direct multi-currency, multi-entity accounting operations across Latin America and the US. You will lead financial close and reporting, implement ERP and ledger infrastructure, manage regulatory reporting and audits, maintain compliance with financial standards, automate accounting workflows, and protect general-ledger integrity during product launches.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close routines and multi-currency consolidations
• Lead ERP rollouts, Chart of Accounts design, journal automation, and ledger data flows
• Own regulatory reporting, capital monitoring, and liquidity monitoring for licensed entities
• Manage external audit relationships and regional compliance filings
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements
• Automate manual accounting workflows
• Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and Product Engineering to protect general ledger integrity

Requirements

• Background in Big 4 public accounting serving Technology or Financial Services, followed by management experience in scale-up fintech or digital banking
• Mastery of US GAAP, IFRS, multi-currency consolidations, and international regulatory frameworks
• Ability to manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close schedules in rapidly changing environments
• Experience managing enterprise ERP deployments and financial data pipelines
