Head of Cyber Security, Mumbai

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CISO, CISA, CISSP, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in information security, cyber security, IT governance, or technology risk management.
  • Experience in handling enterprise-scale security operations and audits across multi-location environments.
  • Prior experience in educational institutions, healthcare, BFSI, or large service organizations will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with SOC operations, SIEM tools, endpoint security, cloud security, and incident response.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with maturity and discretion.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and advise senior management on strategic security decisions.
