About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Designer Group to lead our talented team of designers in New York. In this leadership role, you will drive the creative direction, foster innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that align with our company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of designers across multiple disciplines including UI/UX, graphic design, and product design.
• Develop and implement design strategies that support business objectives and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and impactful design outcomes.
• Oversee the design process from concept through execution, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
• Drive innovation by staying current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and integrating best practices into the team’s workflow.
• Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and team performance to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Champion a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional design experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering successful design projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX, product design, and visual design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
