We're working with a global technology organisation that is launching a brand-new engineering hub in Barcelona and investing heavily in the future of its engineering capabilities.

As Head of DevOps & QA, you'll have the opportunity to shape how software is built, tested, deployed, and operated across a large-scale international environment. This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for driving automation, quality, platform engineering, and engineering excellence.

Joining at the start of the Barcelona journey, you'll play a key role in building teams, establishing best practices, and creating a culture focused on innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead the DevOps and QA strategy across multiple engineering teams.
• Drive CI/CD, test automation, platform engineering, and cloud adoption.
• Improve software quality, reliability, security, and delivery performance.
• Build and mentor high-performing DevOps and QA teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Technology leaders to drive transformation.
• Champion AI-enabled engineering practices and modern ways of working.

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or QA functions.
• Strong background in cloud technologies and modern software delivery.
• Proven ability to scale teams, processes, and engineering capabilities.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for automation, quality, and engineering excellence.
