Head of Engineering (m/f)

• Manage, supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the engineering team, ensuring all hotel systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Plan, implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure all service requests are recorded and completed promptly using the hotel’s FCS1 system.
• Respond promptly to technical issues and emergencies, minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
• Support activities, including setup, commissioning, and testing of hotel equipment and systems.
• Ensure the team adheres to health, safety, and technical regulations, as well as hotel policies and SOPs.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, department heads, and the Cluster Chief Engineer to prioritize maintenance tasks and operational improvements.
• Train, mentor, and supervise engineering staff, promoting efficiency, accountability, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for management review.

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine

• Proven experience as an Chief Engineer, or Senior Maintenance Technician in hotels or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with management and other departments.
• Physical ability to handle technical and manual tasks safely.
