Our platform, XpertCoding, autonomously codes outpatient medical claims directly from clinical documentation using neural networks, machine learning, and natural language processing. We serve outpatient healthcare organizations in almost all 50 states, with deep expertise in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), womens health and OB/GYN practices, and behavioral health providers.

Position Summary

You own the engineering of more than 30 internal web applications used by XpertDox teams in the United States and India, across backend and frontend. These applications were built over time by different people and today they do not all share one interface, one data source, or one access model. Your job is to turn them into one connected platform: a common web interface, a single source of truth for data rather than separate databases per application, applications that pass work to each other, access control that reflects every team and person in both countries, and agentic workflows inside the applications instead of forms and manual steps. You also own the business intelligence platform and will rebuild it so users ask questions in plain language and get answers and actions, rather than navigating fixed dashboards. You work alongside the Principal Data Architect on data design and the existing web applications team in Noida reports to you from day one. This is an architecture and leadership role: the team writes the code, you decide what gets built, how, and in what order, and you review what ships. It is not for someone who wants to spend most of the week writing features, and it is not for someone who has only ever owned one or two applications.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Own the architecture, roadmap, and delivery of the full portfolio of 30+ internal web applications.
Define, with the Principal Data Architect, a single data architecture that every application reads from and writes to, and retire application-specific databases that duplicate it.
Establish one shared web interface standard, component library, and design pattern so every application looks and behaves the same way.
Connect the applications so that work, records, and status flow between them without manual re-entry.
Design and enforce role-based access control for every team and individual across the US and India entities, including audit trails for applications that handle protected health information.
Bring agentic workflows into the applications: AI agents that take actions, route work, and complete multi-step tasks under defined controls.
Rebuild the business intelligence platform around free-text questions and agentic workflows rather than fixed dashboards and reports.
Lead the Noida web applications team: hiring, performance, standards, code review, and release discipline.
Set how the team uses AI coding tools in daily work and raise output and quality through them.
Report delivery, risks, and capacity to the CEO and leadership on a regular cadence.

Required Qualifications

• 10 or more years building production web applications, including backend and frontend.
• 3 or more years leading a software engineering team with direct responsibility for hiring, performance, and delivery.
• Has personally owned the architecture of a portfolio of many applications, not a single product, and consolidated them onto shared data, interface, or authentication layers.
• Demonstrable data architecture judgment: has designed or led a move from siloed per-application databases to a unified data model and can explain the trade-offs.
• Has designed and shipped role-based access control across multiple teams, locations, or legal entities.
• Has shipped production features built on large language model APIs or agent frameworks, with defined controls over what the agent is allowed to do.
• Current architecture ability across backend services, frontend applications, data stores, and cloud infrastructure using modern JavaScript and related tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Has built or rebuilt a business intelligence or analytics product with natural-language querying.
• Daily use of AI coding tools, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, to lead and raise the output of an engineering team.
• Has rebuilt or scaled a web engineering team at a product company.
• Experience with applications that handle protected health information or other regulated data.
  

Location and Schedule

This role is on-site at the XIPL office in Noida, Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST, to overlap with the Arizona workday. It is not remote and not hybrid. Candidates outside Delhi NCR must relocate to Noida before the start date. Occasional travel to the Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters may be required; XpertDox may sponsor a B2 visa for that travel.

Compensation

Base salary of 70 lakh to 1 crore per year, commensurate with experience.
Stock options.
Relocation assistance, reimbursed against receipts.
