Main task:

Responsible for all financial and controlling operations and strategic initiatives of Region North America. Responsible for regional reporting and maintaining regional compliances. Responsible for alignment of all financial and controlling activities with Corporate / Region NA / Local Authorities / Stakeholders (eg Auditors). Lead Finance Teams across six sites.

Duties and responsibilities:

A) General

• Lead regional finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.
• Report to Global CFO, Regional Head / Corporate Finance Functions on all financial / controlling / compliance aspects of the region.
• Assess value drivers of business and develop analytics around key measures to facilitate business decision making. Review existing processes and systems in the organization and accordingly devise & implement measures for ensuring higher operational efficiency.
• Supervise and train all Finance Teams across six locations.

Accounting

• Implement, direct and control general accounting functions and ensure their professional utilization on basis of ZF Foxconn policies within the relevant legal framework. Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, financial assessments, accounting records and other information. Finalize financial statements for sanctioning of project / other loans from Banks & Financial Institutions.
• Monitor status of AR and AP accounts and direct local finance to keep these accounts current.

Treasury

• Monitor the inflow and outflow of funds and ensure optimum utilization of available funds to accomplish organizational goals. Ensure accurate and timely liquidity reporting.
• Support Corporate Treasury in liaising and negotiating with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund-based facilities and import facilities to meet working capital and project requirements.

Tax

• Support ZF Foxconn Tax Function as well as External Consultants in meeting all tax reportings and compliances.

Controlling / Reporting

• Responsible for all planning activities eg, establishing budgets for the organization, in line with the overall business objectives.
• Responsible for coordination of timely and accurate Corporate Reporting
• Responsible for coordination of timely and accurate Corporate Forecasting
• Variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions. Analysing operational efficiency levels & recommending cost control measures for improvement in bottom line performance.
• Analysis of business proposals for various key decisions like: feasibility of new projects, new product introduction.
• Re-engineering of processes across functional boundaries to effect significant improvement in profitability and best practise

Commercial / Statutory Compliance

• Liaising with statutory / internal auditors etc for timely completion of audits as well as implementation of audit observations.
• Ensuring compliance to the government rules and regulations as laid down by statutory authorities vis. IT department, Customs and Excise department
• Risk Management, Internal control reviews and risk based internal audit planning and approval by ZFFCN Board.

Strategic initiatives

• Constantly develop the organization and prepare the regionall Finance Teams for taking over new tasks, eg GL / AR / AP tasks which are currently performed by MSSC.

Competencies and experiences:

• Solid Business acumen
• Hands on Experience in Finance Controlling for a minimum period of 15+ years with a management/ leadership position for at least 5 years.
• Strong social / interpersonal skills
• Quick comprehension
• Able to perform under high pressure and deadlines
• Strong cross department problem resolving skills
