About the Role :


The role will be responsible for managing key financial functions including Banking & Treasury, Accounts Receivable & Collection, Costing, Budgeting & Financial Planning, and Cash Flow & Working Capital Management.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial knowledge with hands-on experience in Corporate Banking, Credit, Bank Relationship Management, Financial Analysis, Cash Flow Management, and Working Capital.

This is a hands-on management role for a finance professional who can understand the numbers, challenge assumptions, identify risks, and translate financial information into practical business actions.


Key Responsibilities :


Banking & Treasury

  • Manage day-to-day banking activities and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Monitor bank balances, facilities, financing requirements, maturities, and utilization.
  • Prepare and monitor daily and weekly cash positions.
  • Prepare short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Follow up on loans, credit facilities, export financing, letters of credit, and bank guarantees.
  • Coordinate with banks regarding transfers, financing, documentation, and facility requirements.
  • Monitor financing costs, interest expenses, and bank charges.
  • Identify potential liquidity gaps and recommend appropriate actions.

Accounts Receivable & Collection

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable and Collection function.
  • Monitor customer balances, aging, overdue receivables, and collection performance.
  • Develop and monitor collection targets and forecasts.
  • Analyze customer payment behavior and credit exposure.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Commercial teams to resolve collection issues.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
  • Develop action plans for overdue and high-risk accounts.
  • Drive improvements in DSO and overall working capital performance.

Costing & Profitability

  • Manage product costing and ensure accurate cost information.
  • Analyze raw materials, packaging, labor, utilities, storage, logistics, and other production-related costs.
  • Monitor actual costs versus budgeted or standard costs.
  • Analyze production and cost variances and identify key cost drivers.
  • Monitor product profitability and contribution margins.
  • Support pricing and commercial decisions through accurate cost and margin analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare profitability analysis by product, customer, market, or business segment when required.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process across the organization.
  • Prepare operating budgets, cash flow budgets, CAPEX plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Review and challenge budget assumptions.
  • Prepare monthly Budget vs. Actual analysis.
  • Identify significant variances and provide clear explanations and recommendations.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts based on actual performance and business developments.
  • Support scenario analysis and financial modeling for business decisions.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, investments, and business initiatives.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Monitor and improve the company’s working capital position.
  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and monitor actual performance against forecast.
  • Analyze the relationship between collections, supplier payments, inventory, and financing requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the company’s cash conversion cycle.
  • Monitor inventory levels and their impact on liquidity.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to improve cash conversion and liquidity.

Financial Analysis & Management Reporting

  • Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making.
  • Analyze profitability, liquidity, working capital, financing costs, and business performance.
  • Develop financial models, scenarios, and forecasts.
  • Identify financial risks, trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Provide clear and actionable financial insights to management.


Qualifications & Experience :


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Banking, Credit, Treasury, or Financial Management.
  • Strong previous experience in Corporate Banking / Credit / Bank Relationship Management is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience dealing with companies, credit facilities, financing structures, and banking requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow management and working capital.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis, costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, export, or a similar industry is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • ERP experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
