About you
You’ll be an experienced Finance leader who can comfortably move between detailed financial operations and broader commercial conversations with senior leaders.
You’re practical, hands-on and analytical, but you also understand that a great Finance function should help the business make better and faster decisions, not simply report the numbers.
Experience, attributes & competencies we're looking for:
CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Substantial financial and management accounting experience within a commercial environment.
Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and performance analysis.
Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, statutory reporting and financial compliance requirements.
Experience preparing management accounts and Board-level financial reporting.
Experience coordinating annual financial statements and working with external accountants, auditors or advisers.
Demonstrated experience leading, supporting and developing a Finance team.
Strong technical accounting capability combined with sound commercial judgement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance leaders.
A practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
Confidence to constructively challenge expenditure, assumptions and decisions where appropriate.
A strong continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in using technology, automation and AI to create smarter and more efficient financial operations.
Working knowledge of NetSuite would be beneficial.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, complete and timely financial information.
Calm, organised and able to manage competing priorities, deadlines and sensitive information with discretion.
If you’re an experienced Finance leader who enjoys getting into the detail while also contributing to the bigger commercial picture, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now!
