As the Head of Finance – Seniors Communities, you will take ownership of the finance function while partnering with senior leaders to shape strategy, support acquisitions, drive commercial decision-making, and help steer the organisation through its next phase of growth. Your opportunity
As our Head of Finance – Seniors Communities, you will provide overall financial leadership for the Seniors Communities business by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, effective budgeting and forecasting, and meaningful performance insights. You will also partner with operational leaders to improve accountability and business results, while supporting strategic decision-making, acquisitions, funding initiatives, and growth opportunities through commercial and financial expertise.

With integrity and resilience, you will:
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide high-quality financial insights to improve forecast accuracy and business decision-making.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive performance, accountability, and achievement of financial and operational KPIs.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance team.
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions, funding activities, and growth initiatives with commercial and financial expertise.
What you’ll bring
You are a commercially astute finance leader with strong technical expertise, strategic insight, and stakeholder engagement skills. Adept at operating across both strategic and operational environments, you have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, influencing senior leaders, and translating financial analysis into actionable business outcomes that drive performance, growth, and continuous improvement.
What’s required:
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Significant senior finance leadership experience
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
- Strong people leadership and team development capability
- Experience supporting strategic projects, investments, acquisitions, and growth initiatives
- The ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights
What’s preferred:
- Experience within aged care, retirement living, healthcare, property, or related service-based industries will be highly regarded.
