Head of Finance Systems
A Newcastle based organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Finance Systems to lead a newly established Finance Systems function during an exciting period of growth, change and investment.
This Newcastle based position is a highly visible leadership role, reporting into a senior Finance leader and working closely with both Finance and IT stakeholders. You'll be responsible for leading the Finance Systems team, driving the systems roadmap, and supporting a number of key initiatives across reporting, automation, data and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop and mentor the Finance Systems team
- Manage a complex Finance Systems support function
- Own the Finance Systems strategy and roadmap
- Oversee a multi-system finance environment
- Partner with senior Finance, IT and Operational stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
- Support major programmes across reporting, automation and data
- Help shape the future use of technology, analytics and AI within the function
You will ideally bring:
- Strong people management experience
- Finance Systems ownership and leadership experience
- ERP implementation, support or optimisation experience
- A track record of delivering change and transformation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- The ability to bridge the gap between Finance and IT
Experience with reporting, Power BI, automation, data initiatives or business intelligence would be advantageous.
