Head of Financial Crime Compliance
You will lead and scale the global financial crime compliance function across jurisdictions. You will govern AML and CFT frameworks, oversee investigations and monitoring, engage regulators and auditors, lead the FCC team, and drive AI and automation initiatives with appropriate governance and human oversight.
Responsibilities
- Own the Group Financial Crime Compliance framework
- Lead AML/CFT risk assessments
- Define financial crime risk appetite and governance standards
- Drive FCC maturity and audit readiness
- Oversee higher-risk client and transaction reviews
- Govern transaction monitoring and sanctions screening
- Review investigations and oversee SAR/STR decisions
- Optimize typologies and detection frameworks
- Lead financial crime reporting and risk analytics
- Oversee sponsor programme requirements
- Engage regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Lead the global FCC team
- Drive AI and automation strategy for financial crime compliance
- Establish governance for AI-enabled solutions
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams
Requirements
- 12-15+ years of AML/CFT, financial crime compliance, or regulatory compliance experience
- Experience as an MLRO, AMLCO, or Head of AML/CFT
- Experience scaling compliance functions across jurisdictions
