Overview of the role
Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis agenda across Automotive operations in the UAE and overseas markets. You will translate business strategy into integrated financial plans, provide clear insights into performance, and support leadership decisions on growth, profitability and resource allocation.
Acting as the key link between business units, Automotive leadership and Group Finance, you will drive consistent planning, forecasting and executive reporting while strengthening analytics, automation and technology-enabled decision-making.
What you will do
• Lead planning and forecasting: Own the annual budget, periodic forecasts and long-range plans, integrating P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure.
• Challenge business assumptions: Partner with business units to assess volume, pricing, margins, productivity, costs and investments, developing scenarios and identifying risks, opportunities and mitigation actions.
• Deliver executive reporting: Lead performance packs and business reviews for the Automotive CFO, President and senior leadership, turning financial and operational results into clear insights, recommendations and actions.
• Support commercial decisions: Provide analysis for pricing, campaigns, incentives, channel strategy, cost optimisation and capital expenditure prioritisation.
• Strengthen performance management: Standardise KPIs, reporting methodologies and benchmarking across business units, linking financial outcomes to operational drivers and tracking performance-recovery actions.
• Drive systems and process improvement: Lead the FP&A technology roadmap, improve planning models and dashboards, automate reporting, and support adoption of BI and AI-enabled decision-support tools.
• Maintain financial integrity: Ensure accurate, reconciled reporting, transparent assumptions, strong data quality and appropriate model governance.
• Partner with Corporate Finance: Align planning assumptions on liquidity, funding and working capital, and contribute operating forecasts and performance evidence to business cases and post-investment reviews.
• Lead and coach the FP&A function, build commercial and digital capabilities, strengthen succession, and support talent development and Emiratization objectives.
Required skills to be successful
• Advanced financial modelling, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong capability in integrated financial planning, driver-based forecasting and performance analytics.
• Commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex data into practical business recommendations.
• Clear executive communication, presentation and financial storytelling skills.
• Confidence to constructively challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders across multiple businesses and markets.
• Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, benchmarking, data governance and financial controls.
• Proficiency in enterprise planning, ERP and BI platforms, supported by advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to lead change, improve processes and develop a collaborative, accountable team.

You will work closely with Automotive leadership, Managing Directors, business unit Finance Heads, FP&A and operational teams, as well as Group Finance, Corporate Finance and finance transformation stakeholders. The team brings together planning, analytics and business insight to provide a consistent view of performance across a complex, multi-business portfolio.
What equips you for the role
• Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA, ACCA, MBA in Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 10–15 years of relevant finance experience, including leadership of FP&A or commercial finance in a large, complex, multi-business organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, scenario modelling and cross-functional business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of management reporting, financial modelling, performance analytics and enterprise planning systems.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and its implications for planning and management performance.
• Hands-on ownership of an enterprise planning or consolidation platform, with SAP BPC preferred; Anaplan or Oracle EPM also acceptable, using SAP as the source system.
