Head of Founder Success
Description
Head of Founder Success at Power To Pitch
Founders come to Power To Pitch to get into the best possible position to raise capital. Our clients have raised over $105M so far.
You own the member experience after the sale: onboarding, renewals, upgrades, community, and support editing the materials founders raise from. Two jobs sit under that: keep founders moving toward closing their round, and keep them with us while they do it.
You will work directly with CPG, Tech, and Healthcare founders to help them communicate clearly and raise the right strategic capital. 83% of our founder base is female and underrepresented founders. Every edit you make and every founder you keep moving changes what these companies can become.
Typical Weekly Responsibilities:
- Onboard new members: map each founder’s raise timeline and what they need from us to hit it.
- Edit the decks, one-pagers, and investor updates founders bring you so the ask is sharp, not just clean.
- Run check-ins with active founders and catch the ones stalling before they go quiet.
- Lead renewal and upgrade conversations as founders hit milestones.
- Keep the community alive: intros, prompts, answering in-thread, surfacing wins so founders stay engaged.
- Flag at-risk members early and report what’s actually moving retention.
Role Details:
- Full-time, fully remote.
- Hours are 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm CST.
- Starts with a paid 30-day trial.
- Base is dependent on level of experience with uncapped bonus opportunities.
- Moves to full-time if it is a fit.
- Reports to Kat Weaver directly.
Qualifications:
- You have 3+ years working directly with founders: as a founder yourself, or in a role serving founders full time.
- You have been part of a raise.
- You raised capital, worked inside a company that did, or supported founders through one.
- You can explain what an investor pushes on.
- You edit other people’s work so the ask is clear, not just the grammar.
- You make decisions without waiting for approval, and you write down why.
- You can talk to an upset founder and keep them moving.
Disqualifications:
- Your experience is community management or support with no capital-raising context.
- Your fundraising knowledge comes from reading about it, not from working on a raise.
- You want direction on every call.
- You treat editing as proofreading.
