  • Act as a senior escalation point for material planning issues, capacity constraints, production network conflicts, cross-functional trade-offs and cross-regional risks.
  • Define priorities for planning methods, master data, planning parameters, systems, analytics, automation and digital capabilities in cooperation with IT and Data & Analytics.
  • Establish and govern the KPI framework for planning quality, service performance, capacity utilization, production-plan adherence, inventory, distribution performance and process maturity.
  • Drive continuous improvement, planning transformation and change management across the global network, ensuring that new standards and ways of working are embedded sustainably.
  • Build strong partnerships with Business Units, Sales, Finance, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, R&D, IT and regional Supply Chain organizations.
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or a comparable discipline.
  • Several years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, S&OP / Integrated Business Planning or related end-to-end planning functions; 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Significant leadership experience in international planning organizations, cross-functional initiatives or matrix environments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and the interfaces between Sales, Business Units, Demand Planning, Production, Logistics, Customer Service and Finance.
  • Proven experience integrating demand, capacity, production, inventory, distribution and network planning into a coherent end-to-end planning model.
  • Experience establishing planning standards, governance frameworks, KPI systems and continuous-improvement programs across multiple sites or regions.
  • Strong understanding of trade-offs between customer service, cost, capacity, inventory, working capital, quality and supply chain resilience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and planning solutions; knowledge of SAP IBP, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, planning analytics or comparable tools is an advantage.
  • Strategic, analytical and systems-thinking mindset combined with strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management and decision-making skills.
  • Business-fluent English, with German considered an advantage, and willingness to travel internationally as required.
