HEAD OF INNOVATION & ROBOTICS SOLUTIONS
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with customers and commercial teams to identify operational challenges, define use cases and establish measurable success criteria.
• Develop the innovation and solution roadmap, prioritizing opportunities based on customer value, technical feasibility and commercial potential.
• Evaluate robotics platforms, AI capabilities and technology partners through structured assessments, demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects.
• Lead pilots and validate performance in customer environments, assessing workflow fit, reliability, safety and expected return on investment.
• Define solution requirements and coordinate with engineering teams to transfer validated concepts into deployable, supportable offerings.
• Build technology partnerships and a reusable solution knowledge base, documenting lessons learned, limitations and opportunities for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Experience developing technical solutions or leading innovation in robotics, automation, mechatronics, applied AI or systems integration, with evidence of turning ideas into practical outcomes. Ability to map customer workflows, define solution requirements and design proofs of concept with measurable criteria for feasibility, reliability, safety and customer ROI.
• Working understanding of robotics capabilities such as sensors, perception, localization, navigation and task execution, with the judgment to select technologies that fit the use case.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++, APIs, simulation or AI/computer vision tools is an advantage. Depth in relevant areas and the ability to work across disciplines are valued.
• Experience evaluating hardware–software integration, edge/cloud connectivity and interoperability, and working with engineering teams to move pilots into supportable deployments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate technical trade-offs to customers and international partners. Strong adjacent-sector experience and a practical learning mindset are welcome.
