Head of Institutional Growth & Partnerships
Description
Grade: L4
Location: Islamabad
Company: JazzWorld
Build What Comes Next
JazzWorld is building Pakistan's next-generation digital services platform. We bring connectivity, payments, lifestyle, and AI-powered services together to solve national-scale problems for government, large institutions, and the millions of people they serve.
In this role, you will build our next engines of growth. You will take JazzWorld beyond its core by landing large institutional deals, combining products from across the group into holistic solutions, building strategic partnerships and making smart investment bets. You will think like a strategist and close deals like a dealmaker.
This role reports into the Chief Strategy Officer and is a leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking, commercial judgement, and deal-making capabilities to turn new business opportunities into sustainable business value.
What you’ll own
- Institutional & SoE growth: Set and deliver the institutional growth strategy across digitization, financial inclusion, health, taxation, and other public-sector areas. Grow a strategic portfolio that includes NADRA, BISP, FBR, the Ministries of Health, PITB and the Punjab Health Authority, and build trusted senior relationships with these organizations.
- Integrated propositions & deals: Combine capabilities from Mobile, Enterprise, Financial Services and Lifestyle products into standout solutions. Find the capability gaps and the partners who can fill them. Lead each deal from first idea through proposal, commercial structuring, negotiation and signing. Build a growth model that can be replicated, with clear tracking of pipeline, deal conversion and revenue earned across businesses.
- New Business Development: Find and assess new business areas and markets. Decide whether to build, partner, invest or buy. Together with the M&A team, create the business cases, valuations, and financial models behind each decision. Oversee the performance and governance of JazzWorld and VEON investments, including whether to restructure or exit.
- Strategic partnerships: Find, structure, and negotiate partnerships that speed up market entry and create new revenue. Design revenue-sharing and joint value creation models, then grow the partnerships that work.
- Governance and value: Set up clear tracking and accountability across all deals, investments, and partnerships. Keep the CSO regularly updated on the pipeline, deal progress, portfolio performance, and new opportunities.
What success looks like
- Public-sector pipeline that turns into won accounts
- Differentiated joint solutions that drive revenue across the JazzWorld businesses
- A repeatable growth model that also works for large private-sector clients
- Disciplined investment decisions, with capital going to high-value opportunities
- Effective governance and measurable value creation across the investment portfolio.
Requirements
You may be a strong fit if you bring:
