Head of IoT / IoT Solutions & Project Lead

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm

🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Head of IoT to lead:

• solution design for smart city / IoT projects

• project execution and delivery

• coordination between hardware, software, and clients

This is not a purely managerial role — you must be able to get into details and solve problems.

🔧 Responsibilities

1. Solutioning

• Design IoT solutions for:

  • smart street lighting

  • smart buildings / townships

  • sensor and monitoring systems

• Translate client requirements into:

  • system architecture

  • device + platform integration

Work with sales team on proposals and technical discussions

2. Project Management

• Manage end-to-end project delivery:

  • planning

  • execution

  • timelines

• Coordinate:

  • internal team

  • external vendors (software house, hardware suppliers)

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and working

3. Technical Oversight

• Oversee IoT platform and system architecture

• Review software and hardware integration

• Troubleshoot issues across:

  • devices

  • network

  • platform

4. Deployment & Operations

• Guide on-site and remote deployment

• Ensure system commissioning and testing

• Improve operational workflows and processes

🧠 Requirements

• Experience in IoT / smart systems / building tech

• Strong understanding of integration (devices + platform)

• Experience managing projects or deployments

• Able to communicate with both:

  • engineers

  • clients

• Experience in smart lighting / ELV / BMS / smart city

• Business Travel as and when required
