Head of IT
Key aspects of the role include:
Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
Drive innovation by assessing and implementing emerging technologies to improve pharmaceutical manufacturing and commercial operations.
Act as a strategic IT partner to executive leadership and key stakeholders, offering guidance on digital opportunities and potential risks.
Liaise with business leaders to gather system requirements and deliver user-focused technology solutions.
Oversee IT infrastructure ensuring high system availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
Manage data governance, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT vendors and service providers to deliver reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective technology support.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Open to candidates willing to relocate to the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 7 years in a senior IT leadership role.
- Must have experience working within the pharma/medical devices industry.
- Proven success in leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
