Your new company

You will be joining an established global organisation operating within a complex and highly regulated environment. The organisation is strengthening its technology capabilities to create a more resilient, secure, independent and commercially disciplined IT environment supporting its global operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to take ownership of a broad IT function and play a key role in improving operational stability, technology governance and overall technology effectiveness.

Your new role

• You will provide end-to-end leadership across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, application support, technology governance, vendor management and change delivery.

• You will be responsible for strengthening the overall technology operating model, ensuring that technology services are secure, resilient, recoverable and well governed. You will provide hands-on leadership across operational challenges including service stability, incident management, technology risk remediation, capacity constraints and delivery prioritisation.
  
• A key part of your role will involve driving greater commercial discipline across technology expenditure. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across technology, operations, finance, procurement and risk to identify opportunities for cost optimisation, vendor and licence rationalisation, infrastructure efficiencies and application simplification.
  
• You will also oversee the technology application portfolio and support broader integration, migration, separation, rationalisation and operational-readiness initiatives, ensuring technology risks, dependencies and controls are effectively managed.
  
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 15 years in IT related role and 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong technology leadership experience gained within financial services, funds, asset servicing, fund administration, banking, capital markets, corporate services or another regulated environment.
• Has hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, IT service management and application support
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and IT service management, including incident, problem, change, release, asset and configuration management
• Working knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, IAM networks, EUC, back up, DR and security controls.
• Proven experience managing IT vendors, contracts, licences and cost-optimisation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of technology governance, audit, risk, controls and executive reporting.
• The ability to operate at a senior leadership level while remaining sufficiently hands-on to resolve operational challenges and drive execution.
