About the role
This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in making technology reliable, building a strong team and vendor management.
Key accountabilities include:
- Leading the IT Operations function, setting direction and overseeing delivery of core technology services
- Overseeing infrastructure and networks, making sure they are reliable and fit for purpose
- Leading end user compute and service delivery
- Managing key vendor and outsourced partner relationships, holding them to agreed service levels
- Supporting operational budget control and financial planning for technology services
- Leading, coaching and developing the team as it grows
- Promoting operational discipline and continuous improvement
- Have IT operations leadership experience in a medium to large, multi-vendor environment, with at least 5 years in operations or service management leadership roles
- Have strong expertise across infrastructure, cloud, networking, end user computing and service delivery
- Have proven vendor and commercial management capability
- Have experience leading technical teams
- Be a strong communicator who builds trust with stakeholders
