Head of Legal

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Legal to lead our legal department in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in legal advice, real estate laws, property transactions, and corporate/commercial law. As the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal guidance to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including real estate transactions and corporate/commercial matters. - Lead negotiations and drafting of contracts and agreements to protect the organization's interests. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of real estate and corporate law. - Manage and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary to ensure effective legal representation. - Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
